College Massage Programs in NYS
Massage Therapy A.A.S. Degree
Many college programs in NYS are now offering degree programs in Massage Therapy. A massage therapy program will prepare students for the NYS Licensing exam. NYS requires that students enrolled in a massage therapy training program receive at least 1000 hours of training in specific area’s of study. Most schools will exceed the state requirements. To earn a A.A.S. degree in massage therapy you will need to earn 64 to 67 credits depending on the college you choose.
Applicants are subject to admission exams and have a GPA of 2.25 or higher. Please review criteria for acceptance for the massage programs your interested in.
